Merkelbach Beer Stein #3104 K. The artists who worked for R.

Wynand and other famous designers and art professors of Art Nouveau/Jugendstil era. Designed by Karl Mehlem in 1910, this stein is made of stoneware and glazed with "koelnisch braun" glaze - a very special glaze technique used exclusively by R.

The lid is pewter designed specifically for this stein. The body of the stein is in excellent condition - there is no damage or repairs.

The lid has some minor dings - see pics. The stein is marked with R. Merkelbach Grenzhausen mark from before 1916 and 3104 model number. The stein is 6.25 tall to the top of the thumblift, 0.5L capacity.
