Antique Regimental Beer Stein Wurtt Infantry Reg #127 Ulm c. Description: Original regimental (Reservisten) stein c. Belonged to gefreiter (corporal) Aeckerle of 3. 127 stationed in Ulm, Baden Wuerttemberg. Made of hard porcelain with lithophane in the bottom showing a soldier saying good-bye to his sweetheart. Very nicely decorated with the view of the city of Ulm and hand-touched over transfer outline battle scenes. Magnificent figural lid with two standing soldiers. The thumblift is made in the form of a sparrow - this is the historical symbol of the city of Ulm. Excellent condition - minimal age-related wear, no damage or repair whatsoever. The pewter is in good order. It is 11.25 tall, 0.5L capacity. Please note - this is the original authentic regimental stein from the period.
