This one was designed by Paul Wynand and it carries the famous "Merkelbach look" of gray stoneware with the famous "Braun geflammt" and "Koelnisch braun" (Cologne brown) glazes that became the signature look of Merkelbach stoneware. This beer stein is actually a pouring stein - it is quite large and holds 2 liters of brew. The stein is in excellent condition - there is no damage or repairs.
