Antique/Vintage German Blown Glass Beer Stein Silver Lid by Gebruder Kuhn c. This beautiful beer stein was made hand blown of crystal glass with attached handle and stone-cut bottom. It has a beautiful nicely polished solid silver lid. The lid is elaborately engraved with a nicely designed initials P. " The lid is marked with the German silver purity mark "800, half moon and a crown used after 1886, and the maker's mark that I identify as the mark for Gebruder (Brothers) Kuhn, silversmiths in Schwabische Gmund.

The company was established in 1860 and is still active. Judging by the details (handle attachment, hinge and the style of the initials) I date the stein to the 1930s. The stein is in excellent condition.

There is no chips or lines, the lid is in perfect condition as well. The stein is 6.5 to the top of the thumblift, 0.5L capacity. Materials: Cut crystal glass, silver lid.
