An antique German Regensburg style molded stoneware half-height beer stein, mid-to-late 19th century. Featuring drunkard in relief, framed by Gothic style lattice, with pewter base edge and lid. 6.5"h x 4.5"w x 5.5d (including handle). The molded design is overall well preserved, but the stein displays dulling and surface scratches to its pewter, scattered chips to its stoneware, and various production imperfections, such as firing fractures and pewter casting irregularities - see pictures.Additionally, the pewter base is slightly loose and can shift on the stoneware.
