Harvard Motto & Drinking Song 1/2 L Antique German blown glass beer stein
Overall in mint condition (exactly as pictured). This is a wonderful 115 year old blown clear glass transfer & hand-painted Harvard stein. The central image depicts Harvard's motto. Veritas Christo et Ecclesiae" and translates to "Truth for Christ and the Church", above the motto is a drinking song circa 1906/1907 that reads "Oh here's to Johnny Harvard! Fill him up a full glass, Fill him up a glass to his name and fame! ", and finally just below the motto is "Rah Rah Rah! Rah Rah Rah -- Harvard! Height: 7.3 tall from base to top of thumblift. Width: 3.25 at the base.
