Designed by Paul Wynand - one of the most important beer stein designer of Jugenstil era in 1910s, this stein is made of gray stoneware and glazed with cobalt-blue glaze. The simplicity of decorations and its geometrical pattern were part of a new artistic ideology of Art Nouveau/Jugendstil. The stein is marked with S.

Gerz triangle mark used between 1893 and 1936 and 1665 model number. The stein is quite large and impressive - it stands 12 tall to the top of the thumblift, and holds up to 3L of brew.
