Majolica Monk Character 1/2L German beer stein antique great color & presence

German ceramic, figural, 1/2 L, figural head lid. No text on this specimen.

Condition and Description: Overall in very good condition, only knocks are a hairline that runs partway through the lid and some glaze loss on the underside of base (exactly as pictured - the hairline is most evident at the edge of the inlay directly above the monk's right eyebrow). This Majolica Monk is a wonderful character stein, with strong color and great presence - displays incredibly well! Height: 6.6 tall from base to top of thumblift. Width: 3.6 at the base.
