Rare Antique 1890s ROYAL DUTCH BREWERY Glass Beer Stein, Sachsischen Glastabrik
This is a listing for a 1890s ROYAL DUTCH Bavarian Brewery Beer Stein, Sachsischen Glastabrik, Emil Sahm. Took plenty of HD photos so that you can see this item in detail. To have the Dutch Coat of Arms engraved on this pewter lid makes this a very special stein indeed. There is plenty of history on the Royal Dutch Bavarian Brewery, and their links to Heineken etc.

Which you can read all about online. Equally, the Sachsischen Glastabrik is steeped in history and the crown is very well stamped on the bottom of this glass. The stein is 0.4l, which has been etched in the glass. There is a very small chip around the rim, it is a smooth chip however and doesn't feel sharp or jagged. The 1705 number is a form or mold number and not a date of when this was produced, the stein is dated by looking at when the Royal Dutch Bavarian Brewery were operating in business, as well as by the Sachsischen Glastabrik glass stamp.

This is an exceptionally rare stein and you won't find another one like it. Absolutely steeped in history, and has the incredible Dutch Coat of Arms stamped in the lid.

The best of the best. The stein is 9cm diametre, 18cm tall, and weighs 800 grams. Please see our feedback ratings profile. If you have any questions please feel free to let us know.
